چکیده
The multitrace domain decomposition surface integral equation (MT-DD-SIE) originally developed to analyze electromagnetic scattering from dielectric composite objects is extended efficiently account for perfect electrically conducting (PEC) bodies. This achieved by adopting Robin transmission conditions (RTCs) PEC surfaces. These PEC-RTCs, which are the only governing equations a body, used “couple” it Upon discretization, PEC-RTCs produce well-conditioned matrix block and, therefore, does not negatively affect convergence of iterative solution MT-DD-SIE equation. resulting method significantly faster and has smaller memory footprint than traditional globally coupled contact-region-modeling that uses electric field Poggio-Miller-Chang-Harrington-Wu-Tsai SIEs in analyzing PEC/dielectric objects. demonstrated numerical examples involving large scatterers.

A Numerical Method for Solving Stochastic Volterra-Fredholm Integral Equation
In this paper, we propose a numerical method based on the generalized hat functions (GHFs) and improved hat functions (IHFs) to find numerical solutions for stochastic Volterra-Fredholm integral equation. To do so, all known and unknown functions are expanded in terms of basic functions and replaced in the original equation. The operational matrices of both basic functions are calculated and em...
متن کاملNumerical Analysis of Combined Field Integral Equation Formulations for Electromagnetic Scattering by Dielectric and Composite Objects
Numerical analysis of a generalized form of the recently developed electric and magnetic current combined field integral equation (JM-CFIE) for electromagnetic scattering by homogeneous dielectric and composite objects is presented. This new formulation contains a similar coupling parameter α as CFIE contains in the case of perfectly conducting objects. Two alternative JM-CFIE(α) formulations a...
متن کاملAnalysis of Scattering from Composite Conductor and Dielectric Objects Using Single Integral Equation Method and MLFMA Based on JMCFIE
A highly efficient hybrid method of single integral equation (SIE) and electric/magnetic current combined field integral equation (JMCFIE) is presented, named as SJMCFIE, for analysing scattering from composite conductor and dielectric objects, in which, SIE can reduce one half unknowns in dielectric region. The resultant matrix equation of SJMCFIE can be represented in the iteration form, whic...
متن کاملConvergence analysis of a high-order Nyström integral-equation method for surface scattering problems
In this paper we present a convergence analysis for the Nyström method proposed in [Jour. Comput. Phys. 169 pp. 2921-2934, 2001] for the solution of the combined boundary integral equation formulations of sound-soft acoustic scattering problems in three-dimensional space. This fast and efficient scheme combines FFT techniques and a polar change of variables that cancels out the kernel singulari...
